Two of his nephews Behest Goharrig and Behest Tishtrya, ridden by Mr and Mrs Murphy of Lanark Riding club have qualified for the Scottish Farmer and Saltire finals in dressage. Their mother Behest Vaxsha, was well known in the show ring and sadly died aged 28 in December.
Dressage
Several club members recently attended the first Unaffiliated dressage at the Scottish National Equestrian Centre. The club was well represented with Bryony Ross, Pauline Walker, Caroline Guy and Lorna Muirhead. The girls had a great time with Bryony coming 3rd in Prelim 14 and Lorna coming 4th in Prelim 4 and winning Novice 30.
The following day Bryony, Caroline and Lorna were out again at Rowallan. This time Bryony was 4th in P16 and 6th in E41 and Lorna was 5th in N25.
If any other club members have been out competing please us send details so we can let people know. Quiz Night The quiz this year was held on 16th January in St Ninians Church Hall, Stirling. We had 9 teams altogether. The winning team consisted of Isobel Brown, Helen Robertson, Liz Logan and Cath Cornall. Anne Patterson, Barbara & Bryony Ross and Lorna Muirhead came a close second. Well done to everyone else who took part. Annual Club Meal The club meal was held on the 30th January at The Red Lion, Culross. It was well attended yet again and everyone filled their bellies – nice to get out of horsey clothes for a change.
